How it Works?

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) detection

  • ABI, TBI measurements and segmental pressures
  • >90% detection accuracy
  • 3 modalities available – Doppler, Bilateral PPG sensors, Cuff only: for semi-automatic pressure and PVR waveform measurements

Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV)

  • Simultaneous recording of pulse waves at two vessel sites, direct measurement of transit time
  • Calculation of PWV based on vessel distance measurement
  • Measurement at carotid and femoral arteries (aortic PWV, gold standard method)

Pulse Wave Analysis (PWA), Pulsewave velocity and digital biomarkers

  • Determination of aortic pulse wave through conversion of brachial pulse (single cuff on the upper arm)
  • Global transfer function from peer reviewed publication
  • Calibration with brachial systolic and diastolic blood pressure from external device or integrated oscillometric measurement
  • Determination of 14 digital Biomarkers

Endothelial Function testing

Quantification of the hyperemic response after temporal occlusion of the brachial artery through suprasystolic cuff pressure, using fully automated procedures:

Flow Mediated Slowing (FMS)

Compares PWV in the brachial artery before and after occlusion

Pulse Amplitude Ratio (PAR)

Compares finger tip perfusion measured by bilateral infrared sensors (photo pulse plethysmography) before and after occlusion
